There's a big misconception that antidepressants create this euphoria and complete sense of well-being if you take them. This is absolutely false. The truth is, antidepressants won't make you happy if you initially dissatisfied with your life situation. However, it's kind of like the chicken or the egg situation: Are you depressed because your life isn't in order, or is your life chaotic and out of order because you are depressed? In this video I speak about antidepressants not being the best solution if you're not making any positive changes in your life. If you are depressed because your life sucks, antidepressants aren't a very logical solution.
